The building was designed by the Danish architect Theophil Edvard Freiherr von Hansen. At 1985 the building has been classified as a work of art from the Greek Ministry of Civilization. The building located at Delfon and Didotou streets in Kolonaki area is characterized as a work of art that needs special state protection, (according to the provisions of Law 1469/50), because it is an extremely interesting and very remarkable example of architecture of the Neoclassicism era.
