SiCenterhotel Thingholt went through a major renovation 2013 and have a brand new restaurant inhouse - Ísafold Bistro. This is a great trendy and modern restaurant where the menu differs around the year to intoduce in-season products.This hotels exterior is a mix of glass, wood and grey concrete which creates a facade which is modern yet traditional and where you can clearly see the influence the Icelandic nature has had.The lobby is chic, modern and stylish, a great example of Icelandic contemporary interior design. When entering the hotel there?s a long black lava textured wall, covered in dark glass masks representing the hidden people of Iceland and a small waterfall trickling down over them.This well located and managed property is the newest of Reykjaviks new breed of boutique hotel and has been done up to a very high standard. CenterHotel Thingholt has been nominated a couple of times as the boutique hotel of the year by World Travel Awards and come highly recommended.This hotel is non-smoking. Half Board guests will dine at either SKÝ Restaurant and Bar, located on the top floor of CenterHotel Arnarhvoll, Ísafold Restaurant located at CenterHotel Thingholt or Jörgensen Kitchen and Bar located in Centerhotel Midgardur.
